Kurapov returns to Pensacola after making an impact during the 2025–26 campaign, recording four points on three goals and one assist in six regular-season games with the Ice Flyers. The right-shot forward also added two points on one goal and one assist in three postseason appearances, providing an offensive spark after joining the team late in the season.

“Andrew is a player who brings a lot of versatility to our lineup,” said Head Coach Jeremy Gates. “He has the ability to contribute at both ends of the ice and understands the importance of playing within a team structure. He is an offensive threat with is shot and vision on the ice. He sees the game well and competes hard every night. We’re excited to have him back in Pensacola and believe he’ll be a valuable part of our group as we work toward our goal of winning a championship.”

A native of Corvallis, Oregon, Kurapov joined the Ice Flyers after beginning the 2025–26 season with the Knoxville Ice Bears. He recorded 14 points on seven goals and seven assists in 27 games with Knoxville before being acquired by Pensacola at the SPHL trade deadline. Kurapov also spent time with the ECHL’s Reading Royals during the season.

Kurapov began his professional career following a standout four-year collegiate career at Endicott College, where he totaled 118 points on 51 goals and 67 assists in 113 games. He was named the CCC Player of the Year in 2022–23 and earned First Team All-Conference honors that season. Kurapov also produced at least a point-per-game in each of his final three collegiate seasons.

With a full season in Pensacola ahead of him, Kurapov will look to build on his strong finish to the 2025–26 campaign and provide another offensive weapon for the Ice Flyers’ forward group.

“Pensacola is a beautiful place to play with an amazing community,” said Kurapov. “I really enjoyed my time with the Ice Flyers last season, and I’m ready to do whatever I can to help this team compete for a championship.”

The 2026–27 season will mark Kurapov’s first full season with the Ice Flyers after joining the club late in the 2025–26 campaign.

“We’re excited to welcome Curtis to the Ice Flyers,” Head Coach Jeremy Gates said. “Curtis brings valuable experience to our organization, including time as a head equipment manager in the ECHL, as well as the organizational skills he acquired while serving in our military.

“He has a strong understanding of what it takes to keep a professional hockey team prepared and operating efficiently throughout a demanding season. His attention to detail, organization, work ethic and commitment to taking care of our players and their equipment will be extremely important to our team. I’m confident Curtis will do an outstanding job here and be a great addition to our staff.”

Mosely joins the Ice Flyers after building a career that combines professional hockey experience with 24 years of service in the United States Army. During his military career, he worked in logistics at levels ranging from supporting a small company to overseeing operations across much of Germany.

“My time in Army logistics gave me an understanding of supplying what is needed to support the mission,” Mosely said. “That transitions easily into the hockey world. My job is to support the players so they can perform at their best every time they step on the ice.”

The discipline, preparation and adaptability Mosely developed in the Army now guide his work in hockey. His responsibilities include maintaining equipment, sharpening skates, preparing uniforms, organizing the locker room and addressing problems before they become distractions for players and coaches.

Mosely’s approach is especially valuable during road trips, when the team must operate with limited space, time and resources. He still uses the military practice of Pre-Combat Checks and Pre-Combat Inspections to confirm everything has been packed and is ready for use.

“Once you’re on the road, you can’t run back to the equipment room if something was forgotten,” Mosely said. “You have to be organized, double-check everything and think ahead.”

Mosely began playing hockey at 16 and continued playing while stationed in Germany. He later became involved in the professional game through freelance hockey photography, which helped him build relationships and opened the door to his first equipment manager position.

During his first season in professional hockey, Mosely helped the Watertown Wolves capture a league championship. The experience reinforced his belief that trust and strong relationships are essential to building a successful team.

He approaches his work through what he calls the “three Ps”: persistence, purpose and passion.

“Those three things drive you to be the best you can be, not to make yourself look good, but because others are depending on you,” Mosely said. “The players and staff are my ‘why.’”

Away from the rink, Mosely is a scuba instructor and third-degree black belt in jiu-jitsu. He is looking forward to exploring the Gulf Coast and becoming part of the Pensacola community.

“The opportunity with the Ice Flyers felt like a great fit for my experience and where I am in my career,” Mosely said. “I’m excited to bring my background to Pensacola, build relationships and become part of the next chapter of Ice Flyers hockey. I want the players and staff to know that I’m here to work hard, support them and be someone they can depend on. At the end of the day, I’ve got their back.”

A former forward who appeared in 181 professional games, Ferazzoli brings extensive playing, coaching and player-development experience to Pensacola. Over the past 15 years, he has worked with elite youth athletes and professional players from the Tampa Bay Lightning organization and teams across Sweden, Finland, Russia, Austria and Switzerland.

“We welcome Chris to the Ice Flyers as our new assistant coach,” Head Coach Jeremy Gates said. “Chris brings a tremendous amount of experience to our organization, including a successful professional career and years of developing players at high levels. His experience coaching in the Tampa area, working with elite players, as well as his knowledge of the SPHL and other professional leagues, will be a great asset to our staff. Chris is someone who understands what it takes to develop players who can apply adaptable skills to our style of play. I’m looking forward to working alongside him and believe he will be a great addition to the Ice Flyers.”

“I have known Jeremy Gates for quite some time, so when I learned there might be an opportunity in Pensacola, I reached out immediately,” Ferazzoli said. “This organization’s longevity speaks to its ownership and the tremendous support it receives from the community. Having played in Mississippi, I remember the atmosphere when we came to Pensacola. I can’t wait to feel that energy from behind the bench.”

Ferazzoli will work closely with Gates to support the team’s philosophy, structure and daily development. His coaching approach centers on relationships, trust and clear communication.

“I want to be a players’ coach,” Ferazzoli said. “Sometimes in coaching, you can forget what it was like to be in their position. I want to invest in our players, build trust and develop relationships that extend beyond hockey. When players know where they stand, what they are doing well and how they can improve, that creates the foundation for success.”

His path through professional hockey helped shape that philosophy. After stepping away from the game for four years following college, Ferazzoli returned to competition and ultimately earned an opportunity with the ECHL’s Cincinnati Cyclones. There, he saw firsthand the preparation, recovery habits and attention to detail required to succeed as a professional.

That experience reinforced the importance of patience and allowing players to grow through mistakes, an approach Ferazzoli has carried into his coaching career.

“The details in this game are small, but they are imperative,” he said. “I want our players to understand what they are doing well, what needs to improve and, most importantly, how to fix it. The passion and energy will be there every day, along with constant feedback designed to bring out the best in each player.”

As a former forward, Ferazzoli emphasizes habits such as stopping and starting, keeping sticks on the ice and attacking open space with and without the puck. His standards extend beyond talent, with work ethic, competitiveness, humility and selflessness forming the foundation of what he values in a player.

“From day one, there will be standards and non-negotiables,” Ferazzoli said. “If a player brings his best every day, our staff will make sure he is prepared and receives the tactical and technical details he needs to succeed.”

For Ferazzoli, joining the Ice Flyers represents both the beginning of his professional coaching career and an opportunity to contribute to a city whose passion for hockey left a lasting impression on him.

“I’m excited to be on the bench at this level and to help bring a championship home,” he said. “I love this game, and there will be no shortage of passion. I feel blessed to do this every day, and this organization will get every ounce of my heart and soul as a coach.”

Away from the rink, Ferazzoli enjoys golf, tennis, basketball and pickleball. He and his wife, Janibel, also enjoy traveling and discovering new restaurants, but he treasures time with their daughters, Chiara and Carina, most of all.

Zarudny begins his professional career after a standout four-year collegiate career at SUNY Geneseo, where he developed into one of the program’s most dependable two-way defensemen. During the 2025–26 season, the Orangeville, Ontario native recorded five goals and 15 assists for 20 points in 27 games while playing in every contest for the Knights. He also earned Third Team All-UCHC and Second Team Empire 8 All-Conference honors for his play on the blue line.

“Dakota earned this opportunity through the way he competed at Geneseo.” said Head Coach Jeremy Gates. “He’s a smart, reliable player with a high hockey IQ and a willingness to do the little things that help teams win. We believe he has the character and work ethic to make a smooth transition to the professional game, and we’re looking forward to helping him continue his development.”

The 5-foot-11 left-shot defenseman finished his collegiate career as a reliable presence on Geneseo’s blue line, contributing offensively while taking on key defensive responsibilities. His ability to transition the puck, quarterback the power play, and play in all situations helped the Knights earn a berth in the UCHC Championship Game and a national top-10 ranking during the 2025–26 season.

Prior to attending SUNY Geneseo, Zarudny honed his game with the Jersey Hitmen of the NCDC, where he established himself as a smart, mobile defenseman before making the jump to the collegiate ranks. At Geneseo, he became teammates with fellow Ice Flyers newcomers Alexander Dameski, giving the pair an established chemistry as they begin their professional careers together.

“The Ice Flyers are 4-time SPHL Champions with a great fan base,” said Zarudny. “

I’m excited to begin my professional career here and I’m ready to help the team however I’m needed.”

The 2026–27 season will mark Zarudny’s first professional campaign as he brings his strong two-way game, puck-moving ability, and collegiate experience to the Ice Flyers’ defensive corps.

Burnie was a key contributor for the Ice Flyers during the 2025–26 campaign, appearing in 54 regular-season gameswhile recording five goals and 22 assists for 27 points. The 6-foot-4 forward showcased his versatility throughout the season, using his size, playmaking ability, and physical presence to become one of Pensacola’s most dependable forwards.

“We’re excited to bring Tyler back to Pensacola.” said Head Coach Jeremy Gates. “He has great hockey sense and hockey IQ.  He brings size and energy along with a competitiveness to our team with the ability of adding physicality. He can contribute in different situations and has a team-first mentality.”

A native of Midhurst, Ontario, Burnie joined the Ice Flyers ahead of the 2025–26 season and quickly became an important piece of Pensacola’s forward group. His ability to protect the puck, create offense, and play a physical 200-foot game made him a reliable option in every situation throughout the season.

Burnie elevated his game during the postseason, tallying two goals and one assist in three playoff games, continuing to produce offensively when the stakes were at their highest.

“I’m looking forward to being back,” said Burnie. “There is nowhere like Pensacola and I want to win a championship here.”

The 2026–27 season will mark Burnie’s second year with the Ice Flyers as he looks to build on a strong debut season and continue to be a key contributor to Pensacola’s offense.

Dameski begins his professional career after an outstanding four-year collegiate career at SUNY-Geneseo, where he established himself as one of the top offensive players in NCAA Division III hockey. During the 2025–26 season, the Oakville, Ontario native served as a team captain and recorded 21 goals and 16 assists for 37 points in 26 games, earning both UCHC Player of the Year and Empire 8 Player of the Year honors. He also finished among the national leaders in goals and game-winning goals while helping lead the Knights to another successful season.

“Alex was the captain at a successful Geneseo program where winning was expected every season. He’s a player who competes hard, plays with confidence, and has the ability to impact the game in multiple ways,” said Head Coach Jeremy Gates. “He has ability to score and is relentless to get the opportunities to shoot. We’re excited to see him take the next step in his career and believe he’ll be a great fit for our culture.”

The 6-foot, right winger concluded his collegiate career with 59 goals and 39 assists for 98 points in 108 games, serving as a leader both on and off the ice for the Knights. In addition to his offensive production, Dameski earned All-Conference recognition and was recognized for his academic achievements throughout his time at Geneseo.

Prior to attending SUNY-Geneseo, Dameski developed his game in the NCDC with the Jersey Hitmen, where he established himself as a skilled, hardworking forward capable of contributing in every situation before making the jump to the collegiate ranks.

“The Ice Flyers are a strong program that strives to help players reach their highest potential as possible with the utmost support from the staff.” said Dameski. “My goal this season is to help the team have as much success as possible, and to win as many games as possible.”

The 2026–27 season will mark Dameski’s first professional campaign as he looks to bring his scoring ability, leadership, and championship mindset to Pensacola’s forward group.

Nicholas Aromatario returns to Pensacola after serving as a steady presence on the Ice Flyers’ blue line during the 2025–26 season. The left-shot defenseman appeared in all 58 regular-season games, recording six goals and 12 assists for 18 points while posting a +4 rating. Aromatario provided consistency in all three zones, using his physical play, smart positioning, and puck-moving ability to help anchor the team’s defensive corps throughout the year. 

“We’re thrilled to have Nicholas back with the Ice Flyers.” said Head Coach Jeremy Gates. “He brings consistency, has quality puck moving, and skating abilities. Importantly, he’s committed to doing what it takes to help the team win. He brings experience in our league, understands our expectations, and is fully committed to our standards and culture.”

A native of Woodbridge, Ontario, Aromatario began his professional career with the Peoria Rivermen, where he captured an SPHL Presidents Cup championship before spending time with the Macon Mayhem. After arriving in Pensacola, near the end of the 2024-25 season, he quickly became a dependable member of the Ice Flyers’ defensive unit and earned a spot on the club’s protected list heading into the offseason.

Prior to turning professional, Aromatario played four seasons at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point, alongside fellow Ice Flyers Tyler German and Andrew Poulias, developing into a dependable two-way defenseman known for his hockey IQ and composure under pressure.

“I’m excited to be back in Pensacola,” said Aromatario. “The Ice Flyers are a top-tier organization, and I want to bring a championship back to the beach”

The 2026–27 season will mark Aromatario’s third stint with the Ice Flyers organization as he continues to play an important role on Pensacola’s blue line.

Suchy made an immediate impact after joining the Ice Flyers late in the 2025–26 campaign, recording four goals and three assists for seven points in 11 regular-season games. The 6-foot-3 winger showcased his scoring touch and offensive instincts down the stretch, quickly becoming a valuable addition to Pensacola’s lineup. 

“Jack is a player we’ve been impressed with because of his size and his goal scoring ability. He has a high level shot and has done a great job developing areas of his game to be more complete,” said Head Coach Jeremy Gates. “We are excited to get on the ice with Jack and continuing his growth and being a big part of our team.”

A native of Medina, Minnesota, Suchy joined the Ice Flyers in March after being acquired from the Peoria Rivermen. He wasted little time finding his stride, producing at nearly a point-per-game pace while helping bolster Pensacola’s offense during the final stretch of the regular season.

With a full offseason to prepare and an opportunity to begin the year in Pensacola, Suchy is expected to play an even larger role in the Ice Flyers’ attack during the 2026–27 campaign.

“I’m excited to be back in Pensacola, it’s the best place to play” said Suchy. “I want to grow as a person and player this year. Be active in the community and chase a championship”

The 2026–27 season will mark Suchy’s first full season with the Ice Flyers after finishing the 2025–26 campaign with Pensacola.
