“I believe Jordan has a higher ceiling that he can hit this season,” said Graham. “He has set some bigger personal goals for himself and I want to see him bring what I know he is capable of. I’m looking forward to seeing him grow.”

The left-handed, native of British Columbia is back for his third season with the Ice Flyers after recording 19 points (5g, 14a) in 56 games played during the 2023-24 season. In his 2022-23 rookie season, Henderson accumulated 23 points (5g, 18a) in 55 games played.

As I head into my third season with Pensacola, I’m ready to give it everything I’ve got. Each year brings new challenges, but also new opportunities to grow, push harder, and leave it all on the ice. I’m really looking forward to meeting some new faces around the locker room and help build a foundation early. We have a job to do and that’s to win a championship.

“Troy brings great energy and competition to our group,” said Head Coach Gary Graham. “He’s a mature player on and off the ice and it was good to see his improvement last season.”

Button, a 27-year-old Royal Oak, Mich. native, returns for his third full season of pro hockey. The 6-foot-2, stay-at-home defenseman captained his Buffalo State team in his senior year prior to going pro. He has played 101 games in the SPHL and recording 12 points (1g, 11a).

Graham added, “Troy adds a steady and reliable presence to our blue line which every coach wants on his team. He’s a veteran that will help anchor our team.”

I’m looking forward to battling every day, playing in front of our fans, and getting the Hangar rocking. Making the people around me better will be my goal day in and day out. I’m coming in with the mentality that every day we get to be in Pensacola is a day to be grateful, therefore make the most of it and be ready to do your part day in and day out to bring hardware back to Pensacola.

Kevin is a goalie that can steal a win for his team at any time. I watched him come in and play us at the end of the season and was fantastic, then watched him go into Fayetteville after our game and have a 40 save shutout. He spent a couple months in ECHL and reports from those teams were great in how hard he practiced and competed everyday. He will fit in perfectly with the mindset that our team will have this year.

Resop, 27, started his professional career during the 2021-22 season with the SPHL Quad City Storm where he recorded a 9-5-2 record, a .909 save percentage (SV%), and a 2.60 goals-against average (GAA) in 16 games. The St. Petersburg, Florida, native played 40 games with the Storm during the 2022-23 season where he recorded a 14-22-0 record, a .916 save percentage (SV%), and a 2.69 goals-against average (GAA) in 40 games before being called up to the ECHL Fort Wayne Komets. Resop played 10 games for the Storm last season and recorded a 5-5-0 record, a .911 save percentage (SV%), and a 3.40 goals-against average (GAA). Following those games he had two stops with the ECHL Kansas City Mavericks and the ECHL Wichita Thunder.

I’m looking forward to meeting the team and everyone within the organization. It’s a new experience for me but to have the chance to play hockey in Florida again is surreal and I’m just excited for the opportunity. I’ve heard nothing but great things about playing in Pensacola and the fan base there. Obviously, it’s a long season so I just want to bring a consistency every day and use my experiences from the last couple years to be ready for whatever Gary asks from me.

Ivan was a top priority for me to get signed this summer. He was by far our most consistent forward last season. I feel that his ceiling is way higher than what he showed this past season and we’ll work together to help him achieve that.

Bondarenko returns to the Ice Flyers after an impressive 51-point season (15g, 36a) in 53 games played. His 36 assists propelled him to third place in franchise history for all-time assists, surpassing Ryan Salvis with a total of 107 over his three seasons with the team. Bondarenko’s Ice Flyers journey began after a brief stint with the ECHL Wichita Thunder. In the 2021–22 season, he notched 46 points (14g, 32a) in 47 games played for the Ice Flyers. He followed that with a career-best 2022–23 season, racking up 54 points (15g, 39a) in 57 games played.

Coming back for my 4th season, I have only one goal in mind. It’s bringing the cup back to Pensacola. I want to lead this team and this city to our next championship parade.

Matt is a guy you want on your team. Seeing him a lot last year in Birmingham, I appreciated the role that he’s able to play. He’s a guy that can play on any line and all special teams, plays with heart and jam and most importantly comes from a winning program. We want guys that know how to win and are willing to buy in.

A native of Newport Beach, California, Wiesner spent his collegiate career at NCAA Division III Babson College where he tallied 81 points (41g, 40a) in 86 games played. He started his professional career with the SPHL Birmingham Bulls in the 2022-23 season where he recorded 27 points (14g,13a) in 51 games played. The 27-year-old returned to the Bulls last season, finishing his sophomore campaign with 29 points (10g, 19a) in 54 games played.

I’m itching to get the season going, I’ve always loved the atmosphere at the Hangar and can’t wait to see it rocking in October. I’m all about team and want to help get back into a long playoff run.

Cam is a complete player. He brings a constant work ethic to each game and every practice. His ability to play wing and center and all special teams gives us a lot of flexibility. Cam can be a top producer in this league while also being a shutdown defender and I’m looking forward to watching his continued development.

Cook, 26, started his professional career during the 2021-22 season with the SPHL Evansville Thunderbolts where he recorded 37 points (17g, 20a) in 50 games played. He played 27 games for the Thunderbolts in the 2022-23 season, recording 26 points (9g, 17a) before being called up to play for the ECHL Savannah Ghost Pirates and the ECHL Trois-Rivières Lions. Last season, Cook recorded a career high 46 points (18g, 28a) in 40 games played with the SPHL Fayetteville Marksmen finishing 7th in league power play goals and 15th in league scoring. The Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada native was then called up to the ECHL Adirondack Thunder where he recorded two assists in 6 games played.

I’m really excited about the opportunity to play for the Ice Flyers. I am looking forward to playing at the Hangar in a Pensacola jersey and enjoying the awesome atmosphere and fans. Having played pro for a few years and not advancing to the finals, I have my eyes on winning a championship.

Dennis, 27, spent his collegiate career at Concordia University (Wisconsin) where he recorded 52 points (16g, 36a) in 94 games. He professional career began with the Pensacola Ice Flyers during the 2021-22 season, recording 8 points (3g, 5a) in 17 games played. After 19 games with the ECHL Adirondack Thunder at the beginning of the 2022-23 season, Dennis rejoined the Ice Flyers and recorded 12 points (2g, 10a) in 30 games. Last season, Dennis played 46 games with the ECHL Newfoundland Growlers and amassed 8 points (1g, 7a) before joining the ECHL Orlando Solar Bears.

I’m very excited to get back in the hangar with the fans and see the energy they bring every night. Pensacola is a special place and I can’t wait to get the season started.

Kolby is a physical, hard-nosed player who likes to get in on the forecheck and go hard to the net. We were too perimeter-focused as a team last year off the rush, and Kolby fits well with how we are building our team up front.

Prior to college, the 6’3″, 212-pound lefty played major junior hockey in the WHL and QMJHL as well as tier 2 junior in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. Known for his gritty style of play, he amassed 333 penalty minutes throughout his junior career and 122 playing college hockey. A native of Rosetown, Saskatchewan, Canada, Johnson recently suited up for Trinity Western University, playing in 45 games over three seasons, recording 10 points (5g, 5a). He then made his professional debut during the 2023-24 season, playing games for the Macon Mayhem and with the FPHL Danbury Hat Tricks.

Some goals that I’ve set for myself this year are just to win every day and ultimately bring those habits into winning a championship.

Hamilton, the O’Fallon, Missouri, native began his professional career with the SPHL Peoria Rivermen during the 2018-19 season. In 44 games played he recorded 16 points (4g,12a) during his rookie campaign. In the 2019-20 season he played 29 games for the Rivermen recording 15 points (3g,12a) before being called up to play 3 games for the ECHL Jacksonville Icemen, followed by 8 games for the ECHL Kansas City Mavericks. After sitting out the 2020-21 season, Hamilton joined the ECHL Adirondack Thunder in the 2021-22 season where he recorded 6 points (3g,3a) in 33 games played. During the 2022-23 season, he played 8 games for the ECHL Norfolk Admirals before returning to the Rivermen where he recorded 5 points (1g,4a) in 21 games played. Last season, the 6’2”, 225-pound defenseman played 6 games for the ECHL Newfoundland Growlers before heading overseas to play for the Polish JKH GKS Jastrzebie where he recorded 5 points (1g,4a) in 15 games played.

I have a lot of family that live here. So playing more games near them will be special. I am hoping the fans can accept me in. What they can expect out of me is a selfless person who will play hard every game and do what it takes to win. We will be built team tough.

Gulka, 24, recorded 13 points (6g, 7a) in 42 games with Pensacola during the 2023-24 season. The 6’3″, 205-pound forward also recorded a career high 130 penalty minutes giving fans plenty to cheer for throughout the season. The Langley, British Columbia, native started his professional career in Pensacola at the tail end of the 2021-22 season playing four games. In the 2022-23 season, he played 7 games for the ECHL South Carolina Stingrays before returning to Pensacola where he tallied 10 points (5g, 5,a) and 45 penalty minutes in 24 games.
