GAME PREVIEW: Ice Flyers Host Havoc This Saturday For Small Dog Fright Night
After a 7-5 win over the Bulls on Opening Night, the Ice Flyers have their eyes set on back-to-back games against the Huntsville Havoc this upcoming weekend. Hitting the road on Friday and then returning for Small Dog Fright Night Sponsored By Olive Branch Pet Hospital on Saturday. Doors open at the Pensacola Bay Center at 6:00 p.m. CT on Saturday with puck drop at 7:05 p.m. CT.
“It’ll be a good challenge with our first road game of the season, going into a hostile environment like Huntsville. They did a great job opening weekend, not only did they win both games but they only let in a goal in each game against a very good Birmingham team and only let one in against Evansville,” explained Head Coach Gary Graham. “It’ll be a good challenge, obviously we scored a lot of goals and look like we have some offense but we have to clean up some defensive miscues. This is a team that’s very stingy with good goaltending so it’ll be a good matchup for us this weekend.”
