The Greater Pensacola Figure Skating Club’s Learn to Skate USA program, endorsed by US Figure Skating, USA Hockey, US Speedskating, Special Olympics and Move United is the stepping stone to your figure skating or ice hockey dream!  GPFSC’s program allows skaters of all abilities (ages 2 1/2 through adult) to learn the fundamentals of ice skating while having fun in a safe environment. All coaches are certified and registered Learn to Skate USA Instructors; all have background checks and have met the National SafeSport requirements.

Teaching the fundamentals of figure skating and hockey skating skills are just 2 of the 15 disciplines within their Learn to Skate USA curriculum.  IT IS GPFSC’s MISSION TO ENSURE EVERYONE HAS THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN TO SKATE!  The Club is excited to announce they will begin an  Adaptive Skating Program this Fall thanks to a grant received from the Kugelman Family Foundation!  This Adaptive Skating program was designed by Learn to Skate USA and is endorsed by National Governing Body, U.S. Figure Skating in conjunction with Special Olympics and Move United.  Their curriculum is specifically designed to allow individuals with a range of physical and developmental challenges to thrive learning how to skate! Through skating and artistic skill development within this program, these skaters construct a foundation to build success, on and off the ice.
