Ice Flyers Foundation
The Ice Flyers Foundation, established in October 2023 by the Ice Flyers organization and team owner Greg Harris, is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to fostering positive change. The foundation aims to make a lasting impact on individuals and groups associated with the Ice Flyers while inspiring by example and extending the team’s community influence. Funding comes from multiple sources, including Ice Flyers home game events, donations, fundraising opportunities, and corporate sponsorships. Charity Of The Month
Our innovative Charity of the Month program spotlights different local charitable organizations throughout the hockey season. Each featured charity receives a dedicated platform to share their mission, raise awareness, and generate support from both our passionate fan base and the broader Pensacola community.
In-Kind Donations
The Ice Flyers take great pride in providing valuable fundraising support to non-profit organizations throughout the region. These partnerships not only benefit worthy causes but also strengthen our relationships across the community, creating lasting connections beyond the ice.
Fundraising
Each of our 29 home games presents unique fundraising opportunities for community organizations. Groups can participate by coordinating chuck-a-puck events, operating merchandise booths, or organizing ticket sales campaigns. All options are designed to maximize fundraising potential while enjoying exciting hockey action.
Canine Companions
Through collaboration with dedicated volunteer puppy raisers LeAnne Pickering and Weston Cramer, the Ice Flyers actively support the Canine Companions Organization. Our efforts include fundraising initiatives and the team’s participation in raising a service puppy, helping to transform lives through trained assistance animals.
Military Appreciation
In partnership with Navy Federal Credit Union, the Ice Flyers host three special Military Appreciation Nights each season. These dedicated events honor the service and sacrifice of military personnel in our community through ceremonial recognition, special uniforms, and exclusive opportunities for service members and their families.
